The inner ring of the needle roller bearing is available as a separate component. It is often used in combination with needle roller and cage assemblies or with drawn cup needle roller bearings for applications where the shaft surface cannot be hardened and ground. The IR series inner ring is the inner ring found on standard SKF needle roller bearings. They are hardened and ground with a precisely ground keyway surface with guided chamfers on both sides.
