Drawn cup needle roller bearings are typically used in applications where the housing bore cannot be used as a raceway for needle roller and cage assemblies, but where a particularly compact and economical bearing arrangement is required. Due to the large number of rollers, the bearing has a high load carrying capacity and stiffness. The closed face design makes it suitable for bearing arrangements mounted at the end of the shaft. Recessed seals significantly extend bearing life as they prevent grease leakage and contaminants. Sealed bearings are delivered pre-filled with grease.
