Needle roller thrust bearings and cage thrust assemblies are designed to withstand one-way axial heavy loads and shock loads. The bearings are highly rigid and have very little axial clearance. In applications where adjacent machine parts are used as keyways, thrust needle roller bearings take up no more space than conventional thrust bearings. These bearings can also be combined with housing rings to form a complete bearing.
